Synopsis
Rich Roots is a photo documentary of life in a typical Mexican village as told trough the lives of Las Rancheritas, a rural women’s craft cooperative. My association with the group has given me access to the intimate moments in their lives. Through the years I have collected hundreds of photos of the women from weddings, first communions, festivals, birthdays, quinceaneras and other unique events of these descendants of the ancient tribe of the Otomi.
