David James Hearne is an award-winning author whose latest book is titled “June 17, 1967 – Battle of Xom Bo II.” It is a true story about a terrible battle fought during the Vietnam War that took the lives of 39 American men and left 150 more wounded. Hearne has been writing books and articles for over 30 years. His prior works are two novels, a book of short horror stories and one non-fiction book about computer programming. He was born in Bellows Falls, Vermont, lived much of his youth in Charlestown, NH, but finally transplanted to Texas about 30 years ago. David now resides in Lumberton, TX with his wife, Stacie. They are the owners of the Book Nook Inn bed and breakfast. There he often meets some of his fans and other writers who come to his Inn for inspiration or as a writer’s retreat.
